Surrogates AKC Box of 20, packaged and sealed with Boveda for Humidified Shipping!

This special vitola is in commemoration of Kenji, our Mastiff/Labrador of ten years, who was here for the birth of Surrogates. Kenji was a "gentle giant" with a brindle coat and it seems appropriate to have created a very strong, yet extremely complex 5x55 vitola using a beautiful San Andrés wrapper reminiscent of his brindle coloring.

As a "Mastador" is not recognized by the American Kennel Club, the name AKC seems the perfect nomenclature for this project. When I realized that it could also stand for "A Kenji Cigar", it was set in stone.

Furthering the special nature of this vitola, we decided to poke a little fun at Surrogates as a brand itself, by denoting this one as Limited Production. As you know, Surrogates is about creating Limited Edition style projects but making them available all the time. Well, AKC will break that mold by having it's availability more limited.

We are previewing this at NHC, the birthplace of Surrogates, where Kenji was frequently at home.

AKC features a San Andrés wrapper and a Full Bodied Nicaraguan filler with a beautiful fuma head.
