Tatuaje PJ 50th Toro Especial Box of 10, packaged and sealed with Humidipak for Humidified Shipping!
In December of 2020, Pete Johnson turned 50. To celebrate he planned on having a 50th Birthday cigar rolled. Using tobaccos that were aged up to 3 years at the time, he set out to blend a Luxury Escasos vitola in Miami using a select Corojo wrapper and a blend of tobaccos from Nicaragua all of which had some extensive aging already. Blending 2 sizes, a Robusto Especial at 5 1/2 x 52 and a Toro Especial at 6 1/2 x 52, there were 5,000 cigars of each size rolled and packaged into 50 count Cabinet boxes, where they would age until 2023. Since the production was so small, Pete decided in September of 2023 to have them all repackaged in 10 count boxes for the final release. And that's how they have sat until now.
These were teased at the trade show in 2024 and are now being distributed to very select retailers.

Escasos, which means "scarce", is a series out of Miami, but these vitolas deserve the term Luxury Escasos as they are more than just scarce. The age of the tobacco at the start, as well as over 5 years in the box adds up to a very luxury offering.
The date stamps on the bottom of each box represent the date they were first rolled in Miami (DEC20) and the date they were repackaged in 10 count boxes (SEP23).
